TEX-APPAREL feels that it is increasingly important to take responsibility for all its actions, in Europe as well as in the rest of the world. Most importantly TEX-APPAREL has responsibility towards all the people taking part in the production of its goods. At every step in that process TEX-APPAREL is driven to do not only what is required by law, but what is expected of a professional company. TEX-APPAREL expects its business partners to do the same.

TEX-APPAREL 's contractors shall share its commitment to best practices and continuous improvement in:

    1. Management practices that respect the rights of all employees, including the right to free association and collective bargaining.
    2. Minimizing the impact on the environment.
    3. Providing a safe and healthy work place.
    4. Promoting the health and well-being of all employees
    5. Respecting original ideas and designs

The contractors shall recognize the dignity of each employee, and the right to a work place free of harassment, abuse or corporal punishment Decisions on hiring, salary, benefits, advancement, termination or retirement must be based solely on the employee's ability to do the job. There shall be no discrimination based on race, creed, gender, marital or maternity status, religious or political beliefs or ethnic background, age or sexual orientation.

Wherever TEX-APPAREL operates, it is guided by this Code of Conduct and TEX-APPAREL binds its contractors and their subcontractors to these principal.

In order to make its position clear to its contractors, its own staff, as well as any other parties, TEX-APPAREL has set up this Code of Conduct. Contractors must post this Code in all major workspaces, translated into the language of the employee, and must train employees on their rights and obligations as defined by this Code and applicable local laws.

It is a non-negotiable requirement from TEX-APPAREL’s side that all its contractors, and their subcontractors, without exception, should follow this Code. Each contractor shall therefore effectively make available to all its subcontractors, as well as to its own co-workers, the content of this Code of conduct and ensure that all measures required are implemented accordingly.
