11.1 Principle of trust and co-operation TEX-APPAREL expects all its (sub) contractors to respect this Code of Conduct and to actively do their utmost to achieve our standards. TEX-APPAREL trusts its own staff to take a lot of responsibility in their work, and TEX-APPAREL expects from its (sub) contractors that they do the same, TEX-APPAREL believes in co-operation and TEX-APPAREL is willing to work with its (sub) contractors to achieve workable solutions in each individual case.

TEX-APPAREL is willing to take into consideration cultural differences and other factors which may vary from country to country, but TEX-APPAREL will not compromise on its basic requirements regarding safety and human rights (e.g. the rights of children). 11.2 Monitoring

All contractors are obliged to always keep TEX-APPAREL informed about where each order is being produced. Any undisclosed production facility found would constitute a violation of this Code of Conduct. TEX-APPAREL reserves the right to make unannounced visits to all factories producing its goods, at anytime. TEX-APPAREL also reserves the right to let an independent third party of its choice make inspections, to ensure compliance with this Code of Conduct.

The (sub) contractor shall maintain on file all documentation needed to demonstrate compliance with this Code of Conduct and required laws, agrees to make these documents available for TEX-APPAREL or its designated monitor and agrees to submit to inspections with or without prior notice. 11.3 Non-compliance

Should TEX-APPAREL find that a (sub) contractor does not comply with this Code of Conduct, TEX-APPAREL will terminate its business relationship with this contractor, if Corrective measures are not taken within an agreed time limit. If TEX-APPAREL finds repeated violations, TEX-APPAREL will immediately terminate the co-operation with the contractor and cancel its existing orders, without any compensation.
